Just thought id start a thread of favorite guns we own. keep it limited to the top 3. not dream guns just what youve got.

my plinker. Ruger no. 1 tropical in .375 h&h magnum. pushing a 300gr hornady dangerous game expanding bullet at 2550 fps. sometimes topped with a leupold mkIII 2-7x32 biggest kill so far, a chickadee lol.

my other plinker/varmint gun. savage 93r17 .17hmr with a bull barrel and a bsa target 6-24x40 ir scope

my go to rifle for anything i want to do and the only rifle i carry deer hunting is my remington 700 adl in .243 topped with a nikon 3-9x40 prostaff scope. bought it off someone when i was 16 and is the love of my life... besides me jeep and my fiance. but the rifle was there first. never missed a deer with it and never had to track or fire twice.

these are my favorites out of a total of 49 guns. i thought i had 45 but forgot about a few lol. nobody cares about shotguns anyways.

Jesus, It looks like you're safe from any sort of invasion. I have a little tiny Glock 29 (10mm). I bought it for backpacking (very small) but it still packs a decent punch. As long as I don't encounter a grizzly :)

the .375 is in the process of getting some extra fancy wood as soon as i get a few practice stocks done. dont want to just go at it with a $800 piece of lumber

They're all like children...I don't pick favorites. I do have options, depending on the need.

Was that Taurus a straight-up trade for the woman or did you have to throw some cash on there as well?

Oh, and my fave, that I sold a few years ago, was a Marlin 512 Slugmaster for deer hunting in upstate NY. God I miss sitting in a treestand and not having to walk all over creation with a 700 hoping to get a shot.

My parents still live in Rome, but most of my hunting was around Slaterville Springs, outside of Ithaca.

My favorite gun is a 1970 Remington 1100 semi auto 12 gauge shotgun. It was the first gun that my father ever bought himself. He gave it to me when got married. It came with 2 barrels when he bought it. I have always wanted to do some more research on it, but have never gotten around to it. Obviously, it has great sentimental value.

I have a few guns. I really like my Pre-64 Model 70. It's had quite a bit of work done to it. Kinda like my old Timex. Takes a licken and keeps on ticken.

My stainless Thompson Center in .280 is a kick to shoot.

i like your .45-70. never seen a red dot in that color before. ive got a 1-4x leupold mounted in the "scout" position on my guide gun but ive got the blued with the ported barrel i switched out the stock for the gray laminate from the xlr rifes. where did you get the sling/buttstock ammo holders. i want to put some on my .375.

remington 1100 is a nice gun but not really anything special to do research on. they still make them today
