SNOW Pics. Lets c'em

Many of us love wheeling in the snow. Brings those feelings deep inside us like no other. :woot:
I saw Scott P started a thread in the Midwest Region section on a Snow Wheeling trail ride. That prompted me to start this thread. (thanks Scott:-) I am sure many others would love to see your snow pictures and stories that may go with them:thumbsup:.

Don't drive mine in the snow on the roads up here for the salt, but I did take it out last year to play in the vacant neighborhood next to ours.

We don't drive on the roads here in WI either due to the salt.

Here is the 7 hauling some firewood.

And this is my brother's 8 that died due to salt and became a parts donor. Doesn't she look peaceful. :(

I LOVE to wheel in the snow! Fortunately we don't do much salt out here in Kalifornia so winter play is enjoyed by all. No good accumulation of snow in the Sierras yet but it will come soon. I'll post pics now that I know how. Winter is some of my favorite wheeling and can't wait till it snows out here.:D

Great Thread!

Snow wheeling is great!

1. Sometimes you need lots of HP
2. Sometimes you don't and it's all finesse
3. Conditions and driving style requirements can change several times a day
4. Makes easier trails challenging
5. It's cleaner than mud
6. It's fun to camp in
7. Lower impact on environment possibly?

I'll see if I can dig up some more pics!

What is this "snow" you speak of? ;) It is November 30 and it is 70 degrees and balmy in Aiken, SC.

We don't get a whole lot of that in the southeast, but if we do, you can bet your arse that I am going to get some pics of the scrambler in the snow.

Just to add pics to the thread, here is my 8 dressed up for our "winter".

So I guess I spoke a little too soon in the last post of mine in this thread.

We managed to get about 2-3" of snow in Aiken that shut the town down for three days.

I "managed" to get out and get some pics.

We went wheeling at our annual Frostbite Run yesterday. More mud than snow. Still had a good time.
