The real reasons:
1) On camera.
2) Silly CJ-7 top put too much weight up high.

3)Jason had just put on a show just before him by dumping on side and driving out of it. Someone asked Ian to `top that'. Ian picked the same line and we were treated to another great Scrambler performance.

I liked the "smoke" job he did! Wasn't sure if that was supposed to be a james bond type manuever to keep ian from the same line?
It does show that the 6.0L hates to run low on oil too!

Mine was the one painted like an American flag. My avatar was taken at that event.

I just saw this last weekend. it was pretty cool, my girlfriend was flipping channels and stopped on it for me, sweet.(she want's me to fix up my '73 CJ-6 for "her"). I reconized some of the Jeeps from people on here(like the "girls" blue and yellow one). I think Chief waho's was in there.

Was fun to watch - wish I could have recorded so I could slow it down and match faces with names.
One thing I did notice, looked like Stephanie did all the work on the Blue/yellow rig. What a wonderful way to bond with your child.
