The BLM has extended the comment period for the San Rafael Swell travel plan. The extension was granted at the request of the wilderness advocacy groups.
This area is about a million acres of wonderful jeeping as others on this board can attest. The plan is horrible and accuses OHVers (implicitly or explicitly) of harrassing wildlife (running over pronhorn infants), and generally leading to the totaly devastation of the planet. This document was prepared 5 years ago but the field office manager wouldn't release it due to it's clear bias, now he's retired and SUWA runs the office.
