Here we go!

I've started this build in spring and finally got all the parts in place after all !! God's garage wasnt so helpful this summer here in Canada so I did my best with the building/painting

I've started with a good frame and tub with rusty floors, Got a new repro tub for cheap from a Nuvocj , The owner was really kind and delivered it for free in my driveway. After some grinding and welding welding the new rear crossmember I decided to put 2 coats of rust bullet and 2 coat of john dear blitz black on the frame and on the tub/fenders/ hood and tailgate.

when putting the tub on the frame, I used the Daystar 1 inch body mount to replace the old hockey puck the PO used for body mounts:crazy:

here's a few pics when I drove the jeep home ( 5h road trip abd idea)

:bow::bow::bow:

Awesome job and great looking Scrambler!

Body Mounts

The Jeep looks great! Hopefully one day mine will be half as sharp as that.

How do you like the 1 in body mounts? It looks good on yours. I'm going to replace the mounts on mine and am going back and forth on whether to get the 1 in lift body lift set or just the normal polyurethane ones. Thanks

Looks great! It was fun going through the restore so fast.

Outstanding! Thanks so much for sharing. I loved watching the build.

Thank you for the good comments guys.

God's garage is great place to work when the wheater is on your side other wise I used the basement for some painting.

bigwalton I'm on lucky man to have 2 months off during summer:cool: so that helped alot, but it wasn't my first jeep so that helped to

BLennon I really like the 1in combo mounts, It gives me just enough room to work on the gas tank sending unit and top of tranny/ transfer case with ease

here we go!... I took a few days/ weeks to work on the jeep so I had time to, reassemble the drivetrain. Reassemble the AMC 360, put the cenerforce clutch on with the t18a/dana 20 combo. Rear dana 44, front flip TRE kit installed, along with 3.73 gear, 4" suspension lift, Hydro clutch conversion and few other things like, Fitting TJ uppers on the Yj half door, cutting and welding required but really an easy job if you have a welder

Here's what it looks like today with the lift and 35" on

next thing is new rear driveshaft, custom OEMish wood side panel and front and rear bump and if I have time I need to fab roll bar spare carrier.

good day all

Great/fast build:thumbsup: I had a T18/Dana 20 combo behind a built 304 in my trail CJ-7 and loved it. It should last you a long, long time:D

I have to applaud you on getting so much work done outside so fast:thumbsup: I have a garage and I am not that far along yet :D

last week I was waiting for my driveshaft to be lenghten and a few other part. I decided to fab a few things: Front and rear bumper ( decided to go with the OEM kind of look) clutch rod and lowering bracket for the cylinder. I also added the wood sideboard that I made a month ago when it was raining like
