PS steering box options

Looking to convert from manual steering to power. From what I have learned so far if I go with a CJ power box I'll have to change to a lower CJ power steering shaft to match the splines on the PS box.

Last night I was reading about using a Wagoneer or J-truck PS box though and it sounded like it would match my current lower manual shaft and basicly bolt in. I have also read there is a difference between the J20 box and the regular Waggy/J10 boxes.

Can anyone confirm any of this? And lastly has anyone tried adjusting the slope out of there manual box? My dad did that years ago with a 71 Bronco and although it fixed the slope it made the steering hard as hell....

The only advice I can give is, if you adjust your box. Do it a touch at a time. Adjust a little and drive it. I have twice seen guys go too tight and ruin a steering box. Oh, make sure it's full of lube.
