Had to press the door/window-less Postal into a slightly early first run of the year today, had a small issue on my DD TJ and needed to get the kid to flute practice. At least had a warming day and it’s rained a bit since the last salt.

people passing us the other way had to be freaked out by the “driver” holding her phone out the door to take selfies :rotfl:

Assisting family members in need when all others cannot is a great reason for a scrambler to rise from hibernation a little early. Her expressions alone are worth it!

She’s old enough now that the expression is “My goofy dad said to take pictures of this” rather than the “wheee! Postal ride!” It would have been when she was younger ;) :rotfl:

You're absolutely right but as parents we're allowed to think they're still saying "whee!" even when they think we're goofy. My sons do that to me all the time too but LOVE pulling up to their friends in the scrambler!

you’re totally right :rotfl: she does love the postal and we’ve already talked about how she’s looking forward to when I come to pick her up in the circle in front of the high school for the first time (she swam after school every day all fall past when I put the postal to bed, so never had the chance)

My daughter and I were celebrating today the Jeeps birthday. We went for a ride and stopped to eat a New Orleans fried shrimp po-boy sandwich on French bread. Jeep is 36 years old as of yesterday. She loves it also image.jpeg

I let my 13 year old daughter drive my blue Scrambler around our property the other day. Now she thinks the Jeep is hers?
Maybe one day.....maybe

Can’t think of a better way to bond with the kids, than giving them driving lessons in a Jeep.

I let mine drive by herself in the sand dunes for the first time this past summer and she’s learning to drive on the stick shift TJ we got last year

I have a Niece and Nephew that grew up playing in mine until they got old enough to drive then they started driving it. My Niece took it one night for drive and went by a boy's house (he had a Jeep) she was interested in to get his attention. It worked!
