So the Scrambler has thrown me a curve ball over the last month or so. It started making a noise that sounds like a medium-pitched humming or whine...
I am also around Camp Lejeune; Sneads Ferry to be exact. I might be able to get down there if no one else can.

I got the Throttle Down Customs frames mentioned above. Many options, from shackle reversal for YJ leafs, standard CJ frame, TJ spring mounts, etc.
My frame is as follows:
Standard CJ suspension setup
Hot Dip Galvanized
Rear spare tire swingout
It was well worth the money...
Mother of God, I thought that guy was dead when I saw the picture of him laying underneath his truck. Like it got struck by lightning while he was holding the driveshaft! It's even scarier that he is alive and looking like that actually. :oops:

CJ7Pilot, 6 years of wear on the clutch since I restored the Jeep but also I did not replace the clutch when I restored it. It looked like it was in good shape and was not slipping so there could be more wear...
Well, the good news is I checked all the bolts and they are still torqued. Bad news is the noise is still there, I fear I may have to pull the trans. That will have to be a winter project. If I pull it to check the pilot bushing and throwout bearing, do I put the T-5 back in!?
