Did a little trip a couple of weeks ago to Clayton, OK and had a brake line go out on a hill on the main camp road. :eek: Scary stuff...rolled backwards pretty fast over some knee high rocks and finally stopped it by steering into a tree. The front drivers brake line came loose at the caliper...

Down in Argentina checking on our wine and decided to snap some pics of the Jeeps (IKA) here. Not a CJ-8 but it's predecessor... I'll see if I can find some more to post like these. There is even a Jeep club locally raffling of one that was restored to look like a military model.

Ok so I've read and stepped through all the posts, FAQ, green book and been round and round with the Howell injector guys. It was running for a week and a 1/2 but all of a sudden it went south and idled rough/rich... Howell sent me out a new tach filter and I put that in but there is no spark...

I've read through all the troubleshooting threads on this site and a few other forums but haven't seen any symptoms exactly like what I'm seeing. Some are close but I've checked my setup with no luck... The Howell hotline is closed till tomorrow so hoping someone could chime in some ideas I...

While I was looking through Ebay and Craigslist for my CJ-8 I saw a CJ-8 with I would call a 3/4 top. Kind of like a H2/Avalanche where the Driver/Passenger and back seat are under the hardtop and there was a little pickup bed space in the back. It might of even had a tonneau cover for that...

Greetings all... Already have a few things on order for my new ride. New back seat and belts for the kiddos...plus a Lockright for the front. Rusty's has them on sale for $210 right now. I'll upgrade the front axles when I see a good deal... The rear is where I've been reading the most...

Thanks to BigWalton for activating my account!! I joined because I'm looking at a few CJ-8s. A buddy of mine had one and I've liked them ever since. Had a TJ (sold it :confused:) but need a bit more room for the kiddos and frankly a cooler of beer (man those TJ are tight). Looking for one...
