  • Sorry just saw this, Depending on what you need done I would highly recommend Wilson performance in dayton, He is a great guy and great fabercator, if it just mechanical stuff then either Wilson performance or Torbett automotive in sale creek both are jeep and offroad people that know their stuff. If you need anything you can give me a shout at 4234436243 I'm JC
Sent this to texasag77 and he said PM you. Any help would be appreciated.

I live in Soddy Daisy, have a recent post in cj 8 restorations - user name bamacummins. Will be getting my father in laws 81 scrambler sometime soon. Will need some work and I can't do much big work other than changing out parts. Any recommendations who I can trust to do what is needed when I really don't know all the things that might be needed to ensure the jeep is road worthy? (maybe Jeepsters is SD)

Hey, glad to know of another '8 owner in our area. I used J&J to put one piece axles in when I first moved to TN several years ago. There is a shop in Sale Creek, but I'll be danged if I can remember their name. Used them to. Also Wilson 4x4 in Dayton does a lot of work, though I think they are more into the extreme stuff.
