Can anyone tell me where these go? Purchased new Rubicon express lift kit 4.5” extreme duty.

Do these go on the spring plate for sway bar disconnect?

Any help would be appreciated. Trying to piece this back after guy bailed on me.

Probably for sway bar end links. The little holes are probably for pins so it can be a "quick disconnect" sway bar.

None of the Rubicon Express CJ kits I have installed came with anything like that, I think I have installed 3 or 4. Those look like maybe a TJ sway bar end link disconnect.

Do your parts look like this?

If so, it is probably a new style kit:

If so, these are the instructions:

When I used JKS I found that they would bind up trying to undo them for off road. Where they fit together is just loose enough to"flex" putting a bind on the pin. I figured out if drill the holes the pin goes through just a little bigger it stops the bind when the joint is not straight.

Adding the 4.5” rubicon express extreme duty lift kit.

Can someone please take a picture of the where you have the bottom of the sway disconnect attached. Would like to see where and how it is attached to the leaf spring plate.

Will be looking for guidance from you guys to finish my 1983 cj8.

Jammer1, do you have your shocks mounted on the spring plate?

I noticed some of you have both the disconnect and the shocks mounted to the spring plate and some have it to the previous suspension shock tab. This is where it had it mounted before adding the RE lift. Your thoughts? Pictures and comments welcomed.
