Anyone know who owns this Scrambler

Just curious if anyone knows who owns this Scrambler now. It was in Streeside classics in the fall, and didn't sell. According to Streetside it was supposed to come back up for sale once a steering issue was fixed. It never did. I believe the owner was in Georgia. I'd love another shot at it but can't find any info to even contact the owner. This is a long shot but thought it worth the try, and cant hurt to ask, especially with my seeming relentlessness to find a postal to call my own.

Did postals have the Laredo package? I thought they were mostly just base models with right hand drive with the special top and doors? Or did someone just install those parts on this one? I'm confused

Postals did not have the Laredo Package. This one just has a Postal top.

I think Jodi used to own it in Atlanta. Or maybe still does. He’s great and knowledgeable. That also may be the one that was on eBay for a while.

Added some pictures from the Streetside ad to the top. I loved the Jeep so much I saved the pictures. Streetside listed it on Ebay. It was a full on Postal, LHD and all. I believe this was Jodi's at one time. The seller was not him according to Streetside. They won't let you talk to the owner direct, everything goes through them. I truly don't know if it sold or was sold outside Streetside.

No Laredo Portals, I believe all those parts were installed on this one.

I was contacted by someone via PM saying they had purchased this. I thought it was sold. I’ll have to see if I still have that message thread.

Yep, Nov of last year someone reached out to me saying they had just bought this. If it’s for sale again, maybe that person never took ownership (was not local) and it’s for sale again.

Don’t think it’s my place to post/share the owner (and I don’t know if they actually have it).

November would have been the time it was pulled from Streetside, so that may be the new owner?? I agree, not the place to share owners info. Maybe they frequent this forum and will introduce themselves and solve the mystery to where it ended up.

Curious, is it on the postal registry?

I'm a bit curious because the last exchange was about where to go on here to do an introduction post. I messaged them to see if they'll let me know and made them aware of the thread.

Yes, confirmed that the buyer who contacted me has it and "just finished" whatever "restoration" they wanted to do to it.

Hey! So sorry I have been MIA. I am the owner of this one since November. I have actual just finished the rest of the restoration process to complete the Loredo version it was redone as as opposed to original postal version. Nothing has been done however that can’t be put back. I liberated it from its top and got all new doors and soft top. All new complete BDS lift and suspension. Original chrome loredo wagon wheels and full original loredo interior. Installed a tailgate as well. THis is my daily and I love it more than any other CJ I have ever owned.

Once I become a paid member I can post pictures right?

That's a good question for BigWalton, I've been a lifer for so long I honestly don't know.
