Picked up some wall art that needs to get hung up... flap needs to be cleaned and painted... I have a few of them now that I have to clean and paint up... will do that when it turns a bit colder.

If anyone is interested in the Laredo hood section and wants to trade something for it, it is available.
I have the other side already on the wall.
I am keeping the Scrambler one... the patina is pretty cool.

Never thought about that. Somewhere in my back yard is the original 85 CJ7 laredo hood that was on my sister's jeep back in 1992. Garage didn't latch top, you know the rest. I should cut the hood like you did if they are still good. Literally haven't seen the hood in 10 years.

Complete hoods are on the up as well...500 each on these.... I'm with CB on the hood cutting (not on ones like these) but we have been doing it for a few lately, much easier to house and display. I got the other side of the Scrambler during our trades this past weekend, and will be hanging up at my place.

Sad part is, she made one last year, but due to the current state of affairs, could not get it from the school after they went into lockdown mode. She had to make a second one to replace the first.

So proud. I‘ll have to dig up a photo of her in the Jeep just after buying it. Shortly after that she learned to drive it around the neighborhood.

They have plasma cutting in shop class now? If so, very cool.

Could be a water jet. I know a woodshop class near me has a CNC cutter some kind. Back in the late 80's my high school had a metal shop but it was closed. Pretty cool whatever it was made on.

I’m working on a set of cyclones for the scrambler. I epoxied some magnets from HF to the backside. After my engine install is done I’ll be working on these and the switch pod!

I’ll have to ask her next time I see her, fairly sure it it plasma. I think it was a welding class. Being a teen girl, she did not want to use the shop leathers and had to borrow mine last year.

That is awesome... I want both my kids in welding and shop classes ASAP!

My attempt to get a working hydraulic clutch in the 8. Installed the SBC in 92 using Advance Adapter bell housing with the mechanical clutch linkage.

Got the LAREDO hood ornament from CB and drilled a couple of holes on the bench then hung it up over the garage entrance. My daughter asked what it was. Something your future Jeep can aspire to. image.jpeg

Oh
Got delivered last week. Because of work load never got a chance to check them out. What a surprise, beautiful side boards, very well wrapped. Wrapped so good I never undid the second board. Wrapped and re-boxed for winter product. Many thanks (more than you can know) to Jeep Addict. Much appreciated.20201014_152617.jpg20201014_152838.jpg
