Getting a set of cutters to cut the hog rings off.
a pair of good hog ring pliers to put them back on.

The best cutters are the small bolt cutter style. Even a good set of diagonal cutters struggles on some hog rings.51F65AEC-2BD6-459E-8681-40633D462D48.jpeg

Workbench photos that aren't actual workbenches kinda bug me, but today my "workbench" was on the trailer as I could not remove this one... was put on with a loader and taking it apart since it won't roll. It snapped in half on the way home...

It looked like this after day #1... kinda roadster-ish

Yeah, the seats, dash pad and a few other things were good... it was "free", so there's that.
It is a 76, so it has the AM only dash panel as well, which is pretty neat... and a 304, so a V8 tach... so it has some goodies you don't get to come by very often.

Taking it apart on a trailer though? I was hoping to be done with these days and be in a shop by now.... 🙄

Yeah once you have that nice shop ready, you can do these on a " real " work bench !

I really can't wait... the whole idea of backing the trailer to the lift and lifting off carcasses like this and then driving out is something I have wanted for 10-15 years now... getting on/off the trailer 100x yesterday, you really feel it in the knees the next day.

When you have sold off almost every extra Jeep part/project and haven't gotten orders the workbench looks a bit lonely. Just some winch lights.

My 33x12.50x15 KM3s came in yesterday so I spent a few hours cleaning the inside of the slots. Took them to my friend Tom (most OEM winner @ Sand Hollow 2019) and got them mounted today. Cant wait to get these on the 8!!20210411_130901.jpg20210411_140531.jpg20210411_171238.jpg

Let's see how they stand. Been debating on the km2 or 3. Really....I have the problem of 12.5 or 10. Always liked them skinny and we have tire/fender laws.

Should be on this weekend. There are hardly any KM2s out there left. If that's what you want you better jump.

I'm confused. I changed wheels outs and I thought these were OEM wagon wheels but I can't find a stamp on them and they look to be 9" (didn't OEMs only come in 6 and 8" width). I guess they're aftermarket?
