I installed the Morrison 4x4 booster kit, and it didn't come with grommet.
You can make one from a 3/4 or 1" thick black foam insulation . Cut circle 1/2" bigger than hole and cut groove in edge and hole in center for Rod.
I was thinking that the peddle should respond to the open bleeder. I was worried that a spec of dirt or trash got in the open port on the PV so blew compressed air in open back bleeders to open line at MC, then reversed air flow back to bleeders from MC.. got good air flow both...
Finally got back on scrambler brake project.
While bleeding brakes with the two man process, went to passenger back side first. Barely a dribble at that point, same at drivers back and very little movement in peddle when bleeder opens. Front bleeds fine with peddle going to floor...
Thanks Scrambling man,
After looking around at the different builds and the ones for sale, this one looks pretty solid. I have a non- jeep frame off project going on in the shop also and said I wasn't messing with the jeep until it was finished, but I got burned out on it and the jeep was a...
Scrambler has been sitting for a long time in the garage taking up space.
Decision was made to get her back on the road again. First was power brake upgrade, then it was the power steering pump, fuel pump.
Started de cluttering the engine bay with wiring and vacuum lines
Managed to get brake lines finished, worked on setting brake pedal height. Found a lot of slop in the universe rod that ties to brake pedal and made a bushing to correct. Old M/C Rod had a 1/2" hole vrs the 5/8" of the new rod that came with M/C. Got vacuum tied in at rear of manifold...
Productive day, was able to get the brake lines bent and re flared to install the booster and proportioning valve fittings on to the tubes.
One note .. the reservoirs are opposite from the manual MC and the power brake MC, I'm assuming the larger reservoir is always tubed to the front disc.
Thanks Barry for the reply
Yeah I also thought pans were an over kill, but I was gonna use parts of the pan for the patch and trying to match the grooves of the floor board. Over all the rest of the floor is solid except one small rust through around where seat belts bolt to floor on passenger...
