    That other forum? Jeep CJ

I posted over there a bit, but now this is the only Jeep board I go to anymore. I used to frequent Jeepforum, Jeepsunlimited (RIP), cjoffroad (RIP), Jeepz, and that one, but with limited time now this one has the best stuff and members on it, so here I am.

What kind of feedback would you leave if you were me?

Looks like a minimum they would have checked the replacement part they sent out after the wrong part was sent. That IS on Qtec. I'd be writing a very detailed review. No excuse in that.

Goodyear 31x10.50x15's on closeout at Walmart

See if you can order online for pickup. If so, try that. In my experience, if you do that, the website will charge you full price, but when you pick up the item it will price adjust down to the clearance price. The only problem with doing it that way is the difference in the sales tax isn't...

It's all fun and games till someone breaks a knuckle...

Yeah, he had problems with his website setup. jimcrabtree@crabtreetool.com or just give him a call at 573-565-0004 Good stuff. He was doing most of his business over on JF for a while. I don't come anywhere but here anymore, so don't know how active he is over there these days...

It's all fun and games till someone breaks a knuckle...

Try Crabtree out. He makes a heavy duty draglink that takes stock tie rod ends on both ends. I got one from him, haven't installed it yet. http://crabtreetool.com/Jeep%20Parts%20Order-form.html https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f8/crabtree-tool-die-tie-rod-drag-link-install-2465097/ I think...

I created a video on my CJ8 Rust repair let me know your thoughts

I figured you'd want a small gap for the weld to fill. But then again, I'm not a welder.

I created a video on my CJ8 Rust repair let me know your thoughts

Question, when you were making a template, would it not be easier to use the piece of metal you cut out, and just trace it on the sheet you are cutting out of? I haven't done this before, but always figured that's how I would cut out metal to weld in.

    Transmission Identification

Those are what I was planning on using. I got a lokar cable when I picked up the transmission, but the prior owner had used a floor shifter and I wanted a column shift like OEM. I emailed Ididit about using your linked kit with a GM column and a Chrysler transmission and they said that was the...

    Transmission Identification

Now that Jeepdoc/ Kragen's website is gone, it's a little tougher to pull up all the info for transmission specific driveshafts, but there was VERY LITTLE difference in a T5 driveshaft length and a TF999 driveshaft length. I have a T5 in my tan CJ7 and a TF999 I plan to use at some point in...

Do’s and Don’ts for removing top for first time

I wouldn't think so. The top on this one is very quiet but I think that's probably more due to the top never having been off and the fact that it's been kept either in a garage or carport since new (and only has a hair over 5K on it).

Do’s and Don’ts for removing top for first time

Jersey has one that was removed but broke, but I've never seen one that wasn't on a never-removed top. I have an ACME full top for the Scrambler so I've always thought I'd take this 1/2 cab off, but the more I think about it I honestly hate to remove the top for the first time given that it's...

Do’s and Don’ts for removing top for first time

Does your top have the little plastic things pictured here (right at the top front corner of the door where it meets the top/windshield frame)? If so, be VERY careful with that as they always disintegrate when the top is removed the first time.
