On the 85 I purchased, the previous owner started stripping the body and the firewall vin tag is missing. I have the one on the windshield but was and matched it to the frame stamping and title. I would like to know all the options it came with. Is there a site or place that can go back off the...
Is the AMC 20 from a FSJ stronger than the CJ version and is it worth building? I am getting the front Dana 44 from a 79 Cherokee Chief ( wide track) and the guy said he will throw in a 20 if I want it. Just don't know anything about them.
So I’ve been collecting parts to work on my 85. I purchased a few body parts from Classic Enterprise and decided to tackle one of the repairs needed. The driver’s side lower interior B pillar had a view rusted out holes. I noticed some foam inside and knew someone screwed up. Now this is my...
Can someone that is running a 1" body lift tell me the body mount to tub measurement. I'm about to start mocking up my engine/trans and want to put some temporary spacers on to check clearances. Thanks!
I have noticed that some of you that have done LS swaps with 4l60e trans have used NP241c transfer cases while others stayed with the D300. Is one better than the other or is less conversion with stock width, passenger drop axle? I don't have a case and trying to decide what would be the best route.
Randyzzz, I have been looking at the Vintage Air system like the one you are using and was told that I couldn't use the ls compressor. Is that true? I see you still have the ls compressor on your engine.
Keep the Cherokee. I remember when you got it and made the modifications to it. I liked what you did to it so I bought my son one for his first vehicle and did the same modification. He still has it and he loves it. They are fun to drive.
I really like the Saint Francisville area. I wish my 8 project was moving along better than it is but the lack of funds are keeping it slow. Just kind of gathering parts as I can and doing some horse trading to get what I need. I'll let you know the next time I'm in your area. Happy New Year!
