Did the same with the JT and the Scrambler this weekend at the hunting camp. Cut 17 large trees down, only 3 were able to be cut without one of the Jeeps pulling them down.

everything has a bad track record now. Everything is designed to fail after warranty. I honestly have yet to meet someone that hasnt had their own Eco-Diesel blown up or personally know someone whose Eco-Diesel blown up. Here's what mine looked like at 106,000KM.

They discontinued the Eco-Diesel because they have problems with the bottom end blowing up. So much so that the Eco-Diesel was completely re-designed THREE times in its entire life span or roughly 10 years but that never fixed the problem. FCA has been losing money hand over fist replacing...

Thats Bullsh!t!! you should call Optima and get them to warranty it! What a rip off.

ya my thoughts exactly... The original screen is 100% useless in a CJ. Would be nice to be able to retrofit our existing speedo with the new screen AND get the ability to calibrate the idiot light for the temp gauge.

could just add a potentiometer in line to change the resistance from the sender to trick the gauge... may have to look into that...

Same issue with me with LS swap. Drives me crazy that I cant either change set points or turn idiot light off. Should just be a software update needed to allow us to customize this... I have requested that years ago.

I did my own version of these when I bought my JLR. At 6'2" on a tall day, i couldn't get low enough. Stupid design on Jeep's part for sure.
