Working on my 1985 bone stock (258/T5) CJ8. Replaced the radiator and only have about 3/16 inch between the radiator and fan clutch. My 1983 CJ has about 1/2 inch of clearance between the radiator and fan clutch. Both these distances seem too close. Any other stock CJ8 folks that can chime in...

I was hoping to use the Holley Sniper on my 258 but according to Holley's website it will not work with kickdown transmission linkage. Has anyone found a solution to using the Sniper with the factor TF-999?

It is common with boat ownership. Just make sure you have a good contract that spells out use and cost sharing .

I am installing a set of used side boards on my Laredo and the holes are not lining up. Can someone please take a picture of the rear location so I can see how they are suppose to line up with the body lines? Thanks!

I wondered the same thing. I was thinking of going a size smaller and using a brass bushing.

Just got my spare tire carrier back from the powder coater. The original tire carrier to mounting brackets bolts are in bad shape. Should I replace them with like bolts or using a bushing?

Swapping power brakes on my wife's 1985 CJ8. A CJ-8.com member was kind enough to donate a booster and bracket. Does anyone know if they sell a replacement dust boot (see attached)? I searched a little and could not find anything.

If it was my project I would find a good used body, repairable original body or Aqualu body. I've used Aqualu on a few projects and they are super nice. The foreign steel bodies have a lot of fitment issues. They may be cheaper but the headaches they cause take a lot of time to fix. It really...

The 1985 Base model CJ8 I bought my wife came with non-power brakes. I want to install power brakes. I tried contacting Off Again 4x4 to purchase their Navajo system without luck. Can anyone recommend another kit? What else is needed? Do I need a different proportioning valve and brake lines?

Who makes the best quality Laredo exterior stickers and black door appliques? I heard the Collins brothers parts are thin and have a different pattern.
