    Front Axle upgrade

Nope, James Lupo does...I have a 44 in the front of my Scrambler. Either a J-10/20 front 44 or a wide track Cherokee Chief front 44.

    Front Axle upgrade

This is the best answer. I did this, pretty much, but used a Waggy front, the J-truck front would have been a better choice. You’ll want the front perches 27.5” apart, on center. This type 44 build has been covered online repeatedly. I did mine, you can do it too.

    Best power steering box

I did the same years ago, then I sent my AGR box to PSC and they rebuilt it for me.

    Best power steering box

Get a variable ratio box instead of the original type constant ratio box, it’ll drive better. I got my last one from PSC, but they are pricey.

    Waggy Steering Woes

Been there and done this. I never got it perfect, but better. Install the MORE mount, you’ll need it. I used a pitman arm from an Astro van (had to ream the small end and cut out the indexes). I’ll try to find some pictures, but I’ve posted them before when this has been covered before.

Good options for HD rear shackle hangers

I’ve got the JKS Slickrock hangers, but I think that they’ve pretty much dropped all of the CJ stuff.

Looking for HD transmission mount now that D300 is clocked up - Recommendations?

When I clocked my transfer case up halfway, I did cut the bulge off of the skid plate. I welded a piece of flat steel in its place and have run it that way for years. No problem and I gained some clearance.

What do Jeeps have to do with this...

Well, if I can win a new, built CJ that changes everything.

Taking Built CJ7 apart to make CJ8 For Winter Use

I wasn’t aware of that mod or what it accomplishes, I’ll look at the video again. I put in the rockcrawler gate, so I could go straight between reverse and drive (T400) in tight situations. I’ve got a Tuffy console going in too. I raised it a bit on blocks, 1.5”, to clear the shifter cable and...
