Picked this up a few months ago. Was hoping it was a driver for the year or two that it was going to take me, to get the 46 done. That way I would have my fix of flattie, while working on a flattie. Came out of Cali, so kind of rust free, other than a few small sections. But when I got home and serviced the motor fluids, I found that slight ticking was more like a loud knocking. Seems PO had gear oil in the crankcase. Make a long story short, pulled the FHead to find number two rod bearing was razor thin. Rebuilt a second motor and all is good. Now it has new motor, 11 inch drums, brake lines complete from front to back and new 750/16 KM3's. She runs great, well for a F head. Taking it wheeling today for first time in NH.
