We will be going back to Lake George, July 24th-26th. Have only been there once but of course had a good time. We are staying at the Lake George Cabins and RV Park. Its a pretty cool place and the hosts were great and Jeep friendly.

8966 Co Rd 90, Lake George, CO 80827
Phone: (719) 748-3822

We also line up in the mornings right in front of this place on the dirt road. There are Not a bunch of places to stay there so inquire early. With that said there a number of VRBOs and Air BnBs... and other places just a bit down the road. As always, I recommend you hit Google to find all places. Have not settled on what trails for each day yet but we'll have a good schedule. I'll post some info later... I know most like to know where they are going each day - Me Too 8-)

Last year we had a fantastic mix of new folks and regulars, hopefully we can repeat that again this year.

Dang it is at the same time as the Silver Lake Dunes Sandblast...

oIt was brought to my attention to that I posted one day off. It's actually July 23th-25th... As has always been Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Getting close everyone, cant wait. If there is any one interested in hosting a last day late afternoon dinner please say so. Everyone can pitch in for items to bring for it. Dallas and Andi have used a web page to post items need for it. All can sign up to bring different items.

Dang, can't wait to be out there permanently so I can join ya'll. All my Scramblers are out there and I'm still here in VA.

So I've got our trail Schedule pretty much set.

Day One; will be easy, but we'll cover a fair amount of ground. To many trail names to list.

Day Two; will be China Wall, North China Wall and FSR 204. But different from last time there we'll trail to the trail instead of taking the highway. Again to many names to list getting there.

Day Three; The Gulches and the 220 Spur (maybe +)...

All thres days could be long days and could be cut shorter if need be. But this is our itinerary. Just a few more weeks now 😃

I'm thinking of running from Lake George over to Canon City, Monday, July 21st.

Make a big loop on Phantom Canyon Rd then return via Shelf Rd with some side roads thrown in if time allows.

All welcome to join us.

Meri and I are bummed won't be joining you all this year. We had a great time last year in Silverton. Still rough here with all of the things going on related to the family tragedy we had.

After the “Colorado Scramble”, Clif & I will be sticking around Colorado for a few additional days before heading to South Dakota the following week.

We plan to hang out in the Taylor Park reservoir area July 26 & 27 and run some area trails from there.

Could also be easily influenced to running Chinaman’s BV the morning/afternoon of Saturday July 26th.

Also kicking around running Red Cone & Webster Pass (if open) on the 28th or 29th.

All are welcome to join or influence in other questionable adventures.
