I bought a full ACME hardtop from a member here in the Denver area. It was under a few pine trees for a few years and needed quite a bit of fiberglass work. I was going to re-gel coat it but the family thought it would look good black so I decided to Raptor Line it. It came out to patchy between coats and the lines on the top were washed away so I painted it today.

I used Omni single stage and they matched the color to the sun visor color. It looks gray in the photo but once it is outside it really is a tan or spice like the interior.

So you tried black and didn't like it, so went back to tan?

Well it was originally a light cream after cleaning and sanding. I had a lot of fiberglass repair on the back edges and around the driver's door. I finally ended up with a darker tan.

After having the top on for just a few months I sold the top and half doors to a member here on the forum. I had the YJ doors and the TJ uppers. I really loved the top, and the amount of work I put into,it but I feel that I will drive it more with the option to lay down the soft top on sunny days. The Acme top I restored is really a great top, but it went to a good home.
