Been working on my new project for a few months now..
the build up is going to be this..
CJ-8 tub (full length)
TDK frame

then once the tub, body, cage, and wiring is done i'm going to swap over the drivetrain and stuff from my CJ-7 onto the CJ-8 chassis.. which is....
4.2L/4.0L MPFI engine
T-18 trans with 6.35:1 1st
stock D300
HPD60s front and rear.
i'm planning on eventually running 40s..
this Jeep will be a driver, not truck or trailer to pull it...
plan on having it ready for 2010. will be driving to Moab with it...

heres what i started with...

the nice thing is.... all the seams and joints will be covered because i will be getting the inside Line-Xed.. it will hide all the imperfections... :D:D:D

I would still recommend hitting it with Rust Bullet. You already have it sand blasted and prepped. The Rhino Lining will cover, but can allow the metal underneath to rust away... Bullet it first then Rhino and she should be very well protected for a number of years (at least that is my plan and hopes)...

How did you apply it? Not certain if I am going to use an undercoating gun or roller...

paint brush... most of the outside of the Jeep is gonna be armored, the inside line-xed so i'm not really worried about how thick its on there..
