Brake Light Woe's

What's a scrambler?

I spent the day shaving my -8's butt by removing all of the old swing out carrier and stop and by replacing the tail lights with the very cool oval LED's. I have to say the ol' jeep never looked better. The only problem is that I have no idea how to correctly wire a two wire with ground LED light into my three wire with ground Jeep. All I have are tail lights. No brake lights, no turn signals.
Who can help?

Sounds like your new LED lamps do not have a backup; hence only two leads, not three.

The coding of the wiring harness pigtails that plug into the tail light on my 1985 are:
Solid white = parking lamp
Green with stripe = turn signal
White with stripe = backup

Hope this helps,
Jim
