I had the great fortune of being gifted a 82 Scrambler by a family member. It had been sitting for about 10 years. Luckily it was in the middle of the Nevada desert so rust didn’t get after it. Mice had called it home at some point and made a mess of the interior and engine bay. I am posting a ton of pictures from when I got it 2 months ago to now. Aside from the upgrades, everything on it is original and it’s a pretty cool sight to see.

Work completed so far:
I have replaced most of the suspension, soft fuel lines/filter, fuel pump, rebuilt the Carter BBD, brake line extensions all the way around, master cylinder, vacuum and emissions removal. Grinded out some surface rust on the interior and rattle canned it with some matching paint. Aluminum valve cover installed to replace the leaky plastic. Waiting on time to install the HEI.
