Brush guards

IMG_5890.jpegI have two grill/bull/brush guards for my ‘82 Scrambler - one that came on it and another I found in the woods. They are identical except for the following: one is 24 1/2” wide while the other is 29 3/4” wide. Both have bolt tabs on top (11 1/2” on the smaller guard and 17” spacing on the larger), but the bottom tabs are spaced the same at 27”.
These resemble the Olympic guard on quadrate Website however, that one is bolted together for easy shipping. Mine are all welded solid. The shorter is slotted on the side and the longer solid on the side.
I can’t remember which is the original but think it was the shorter. I purchased a aftermarket bumper, which is probably for a new jeep but fits my Scrambler, so I can’t necessarily match them up to the existing bumper holes since it is not an original CJ bumper. (The vintage curved bumper ends. I obtained from somewhere do not fit on this new bumper either. These did not come on the scrambler and I did not even know how obtain them, but like them if anyone has any information.)

Get an original, or an original replacement bumper (which is not as tall as the later Wrangler bumpers) and the brush guards and the bumper ends should fit just fine.

Any idea which of these guards, if any, or original, or at least earlier/later to the CJ?
