Hello!
I just bought an old cj-7 Wagon!
I'm super excited because this car has 2 fantastic backseats facing each other. And I never saw something similar on a cj before!

The previous owner told me it has a Laredo package. I studied in the web and I found general staff related to Laredo but nothing specific for cj-7 Wagon.

Do you have any interesting "official" document I can read about cj-7 Wagon or Van and about its Laredo package?

I want to modify this car, but before cutting off something, I want to be sure that I an not creating permanent damages...

Thanks a lot guys!!

Striped seats are the indicator it is Laredo. The best you can do is look at the firewall tag under the hood to see if those seats are original.

The wagon version was only offered outside the USA. It is known as a world cab and was available on -7 and -8 models. Very common in South America.

Ah here it is the point! World cab! I can find much more info using this naming, thanks a lot!

I fell in love with it and I bought it in just few hours, without thinking that much, but now it would be great if I could find "official" doc or brochures I can read, to study a bit.. I'm Italian and it is pretty unusual to find something similar here :)

Like seems to be the way with all things AMC, they had good ideas just very little interest in them for some reason

The side facing seats were called Troop Seating.

Some had roll bars, others did not.

For the Overlander some had CJ-8 diameter bars and others were CJ-7 diameter. Mine is a CJ-7 diameter. They really were odd one offs. Which is why I like them so much.

I have a lot to work on it, but I'm sure it will be a great journey

If you have any tips, I'm more than happy to listen to you

Very nice.

Interesting that it is left hand drive and also has the UK spec mirror. I don’t think I have seen that style of mirror on anything but right hand drive versions.

I like the grill & fender guard. Haven't see one like that before. And there are those bumper extensions like I reproduce. They seem to be standard on exports. The CJ-7 Wagon just might be the hardest to find of all the 80s CJs.
