I am assuming, from reading this Blog that both ports are equal and it does not matter.
But, since the factory uses the first port for the computer controlled carb temperature sensor, that would be the better one to use.
I was debating plugging the other port or reinstalling the CTO valve. I think after reading the blog above, I’ll be reusing one of the 2 CTO valves that were originally on the engine. I’ll then reroute the vacuum hose to suite the new throttle body, vapor canister, and the other stuff that will not be removed.
