Front axle D-44 upgrade

Along with my LS upgrade I am upgrading both axles. I’m going with D-44 up front and have located both high pinion and low. I know the high is stronger but can have clearance issues with the front driveshaft.

My Jeep is SOA and is running a NP241, both of these things create extra clearance, is it enough or should I stick with low pinion?

SOA should be enough to mitigate any issues with running the high pinion...depending on differential offset. However, it's really dependent on how everything is setup as a whole. I would try to make the high pinion work, personally.
