HI everyone.
I'm trying to get my 84 postal (6 cylinder) up and running but I need a fuel tank. The fuel tank that came with the postal doesn't have a sending unit or any of the hardware needed. I do have a spare fuel tank with all of the hardware from my 84 base model (4 cylinder) scrambler that is not being used (see attached picture). Can I use the 4 cylinder fuel tank on my 6 cylinder? In reading my Chilton's manual it does not seem like the 6 cylinder or 4 cylinder had different fuel tanks so I don't foresee their being a problem. Unless of course the sending unit would be different but I don't see any mention of that. Any insight into this would be much appreciated.
