I have a Jeep and boat. My two favorite toys. I'd love to find one wheel bearing grease that does it all and not have to worry about base compatibility. It seems calcium sulfonate and Aluminum complex are the two base types that offer the best of both worlds. Unfortunately the two are not compatible. Now the question, are either of both of them also ok for use with Disc brakes?

Apparently Synthetic is better?

Examples:

Aluminum Complex:

Calcium Sulfonate:

Yeah that's good stuff. I'm trying to find out of there is one grease that can "do it all" (the things I'm doing). In other words, if there is a marine grease that is also "extreme pressure" and High-temp, I could use it everywhere from Jeep front wheel bearing to boat trailer wheel bearings, and probably everything in between...

I just learned that the calcium sulfonate base, while excellent for marine, is not high-temp enough for disc brakes. Next I'll look into the Aluminum complex base ...
