Half Cab and Bulkhead

So I just picked up an 81 CJ8 after nearly 15 years of looking for another one. It has the original soft top on it. I’d like to do a half top and bulkhead. I seem to recall that 81-82 had a different top than 83-86, seat belt holes iirc. Are the bulkheads the same? I would appreciate any honest leads on a bulkhead.

As stated, the bulkheads are the same and Keyparts now makes a replacement one... which is what the gr8tops one looks like.
If you want original ones, they normally are dented potentially and somewhat rusty or rusted on the bottom, but they are less than $600 for the replacement one.

It all depends on what overall look you are trying to achieve and how much elbow grease you want to put in.

I have one that needs work... it is up on CL in NH.
