Thanks guys! Actually had a pretty sucky bday this year. Last sunday I was in the shop getting something from the loft and the ladder decided to lest loose from the concrete. Once it let loose it went fast and I didn't have a chance to do anything but fall with it. So about a 7 ft fall give me a severely bruised hip and ribs and crushed end bones in my right wrist. Anyway I spent my birthday chasing around the correct specialist for my wrist because I kept being sent to the wrong ones. :banghead:. Finally the next day i got to see someone who knew what they were talking about and scheduled me for surgery as soon as they could with holiday weekend (Tues. 31 May).

So now I've had a 4 day weekend with a broke wing and tons of stuff to do to get the shop cleaned up and can't do any of it. :banghead::banghead:

So all in all it has been a frustrating week. sorry to vent .....

Wow! That's a lousy birthday present! Hope you get healed up and feeling better soon. You'll be in my prayers.

I have a healthy respect/fear for ladders- I did a similar thing from 8' up several years back. Flat on the concrete with my arm extended. Tore up my shoulder real bad...Xrays showed no breaks, but torn rotator and ligament/tendon damage. nesk/disc issues too... I had no insurance at the time, so I let it heal up on it's own. I have about 75% of normal motion/strength and unfortunately nagging pain quite often. Thank God my wife is the office manager for a physical therapy clinic in town...they take good care of me and aided in my surgery-free "recovery".
