My replacement mud flaps came in. They look great, but no where near factory original. In some ways better, some worse.

The colors are inset solid colored rubber. They are thicker.

But, they are shorter and narrower.

I'm guessing that's a rear OEM on the right - can you get me a measurement of the cylindrical pieces sticking up there (length please)? The instructions I have don't have that info for CJ8s, just CJ7s. I have some brass rods, just need to cut them to length. Thank you!

OEM rear driver’s side (right) off the overlander.

1.05” long spacers. First bolt hole is drilled in the wheel well rib, second is between ribs.

I’ll try to get photos tomorrow in the light.

Yeah, the replacements look nice from 10ft, but they are constructed completely different... in order to use those, you would probably need to fab something up to make it longer, or cut it to make it work and then the mudflaps would ride up higher... both not optimal solutions.

The holes are 1/2” from the lip of the wheel well. Most inboard one is 8” from outside of the steel lip on the wheel well. The outboard one is 3” from inner one or 5” from outside wheel well lip.
