Ok.. have a stock 258. Around town is fine. But when out on the highway above 1700 rpm. I’m getting oil pushed out the vent on the valve cover. The PCV valve is new. I’ve got a solid 160 psi compression on all six cylinders. Does not burn oil. Spark plugs are all very light tan in color. What are some possibilities for this ?

I would start with checking the new PCV valve- even if it is new, that is the likely the easiest thing to check and if not function properly could be the issue. Have you done a leakdown test to see if the cylinders hold the compression or is the pressure escaping?
Sorry you are dealing with this.
Best of luck in your efforts- sounds frustrating.

I am having the same problem. However I’ve not checked for leak down. I did replace my pcv and still have issues. Did the hose fix it?

Yes. I used actual vacuum line. When the engine was @ operating temp the hose would collapse and stop the vacuum. Replaced it with fuel line and no more issue.
