Iron mountain resort in north Ga mountains

Just thought I would share this place that has opened up this year near me. Maybe some here already know about this place https://ironmountainresort.com/
It opened in March of this year and has over 150 miles of trails. They are actually going to have a Jeep invasion event in October. I live 15 minutes from this place and have been watching them build it.

That is only about an hour and a half drive for me.

I will have to check it out once I get my Scrambler rolling again.

Don't get too excited, those 150 miles are predominantly SxS "trails" and they do not yet have very many full-size "Jeep trails". But, it's good to have another park in the region, certainly closer to the "State of Atlanta" population. Before this, AOP and Beasley Knob were the closest.

I talked with few guys I know who go there most weekends. They told me they have some D9 size doziers making new trails. But as it’s 15 minutes away I’ll go have a look for myself and post what I find

That's one way to make trails quickly. 100,000# dozer gonna go where it wants to go.
