congratulations!

Congrats. Nothing quite like getting it home, when it's coming off the truck. Been there, getting the tingles just looking at your pics.

Man that's one solid tub. Dents and such, but I'm impressed how rust free it really is. So I assume that the frame is also rust free. Please keep us in the loop with pics.

Oh man, those interior shots are killing me. Where is all the rust around the seat belt mounts and tub supports? It just doesn't look right. :p

Here's another shot of the rear with that battered bumper removed :D

Is this the appropriate place to post of pictures as I go through the rebuild?

Wow! Now that we've seen it up close and personal I am reconsidering my thoughts on what you paid for this BEAST! I believe I would have bargained with him a little more!!!!

Update...

Hi Gang,

Thanks to Errick (mysunnshine), I now have a half cab to replace the damaged one that came on my Scrambler. In addition to the half cab, I also found two full doors that were in decent shape for $250 here locally.
Today I installed the doors, removed the bulkhead, cleaned it, added a rubber sealer to the bottom, and cleaned and installed the new hardtop (used all new hardware on everything).

I owe a debt of gratitude to Errick for spending quite a bit of time with me today discussing Scramblers and how to most efficiently rebuild them.

Here are a few updated pictures.
