Anyone know if these bolts thread out or are they hammered out from the bottom? The tab makes me think they hammer out from the bottom but I gave them a couple of hits and they didn't budge. Then put a socket on the bolt head and got no joy. Since this back piece is aluminum I didn't want to go too hard on the hammering or the socket until i knew for sure. Its an early dodge NV4500 if that makes a difference. Thanks!

Looks like a threaded hole in my extension housing.

turned out to be a splined bolt...who knew of such a thing? hole wasn't threaded and the splines just dug in to the aluminum. pressed it out with a ball joint c-clamp. probably tap it and thread a bolt in at reassembly .

Do you have a build thread? Are you planning a body lift or no? I am very intrigued with your build that I can see. I need more!!

With the overall height, and the height of the tower, I think this would be a tough thing to do. You might need to make transmission cover with a doghouse to raise the shifter into the cab.
