Have a replacement from, already POR'd. Front axle bearings, BJ's, seals redone. No plan to to mod diff at this point. Rear end will be done the same way, for now. All Universals replaced. Front brakes done with new Cal's / rotors. Rears will be left as drums, at this point. New brake lines to be installed. Some already done. Orig wheels and bumper to be powdered this week. Bumper ends from Ed. New fuel tank / skid a few years ago. Body fine except for rear wheel arches, which will be repaired. New bed floor to be installed as well as corners as necessary, Wheel tubs from Classic to be installed. New floor pans to be installed. Rockers, below chrome moldings to be repaired. At this point planning on having original 4,2 and T5 rebuilt. Prefer to keep all orig unless a real good reason to upgrade and lose "originality" Suspension is a question. Seems like an upgrade would make sense to improve ride / buckboarding. have an original soft top (second one) which is used most often. Soft full and half doors. Also have hard top and hard doors, which are loke new. Orig high back seats could use some work, chain saw muffler burn on one, wear on driver, but generally good condition. Orig mileage est at around 110K as cable was broken for a while. Carbureted, and no real desire to play EFI games. Headlights will likely just get upgraded wiring, at this point to improve night vision. Have several other "modern" vehicles for that purpose. All body mounts, etc., need replacement - suggestions?? FLoor carpeting to be replaced in due course. Any thoughts / suggestions would be appreciated. All bring done in " normal" 2 car garage. Lifting puling by John Deere 4WD 5310 with loader. If I had Craigs shop this would be a lot less difficult. Would appreciate any / all thoughts and guidance.

Once it's not as it came off the factory floor, do whatever you want. These are not collector vehicles with numbers that match or anything. You can keep it "stock looking" but as soon as you're repairing wheel arches/replacing beds/repainting, just do whatever you like. If a stock look is what you want, do that, but feel free to do it with whatever upgrades you want.

Once they're no longer low-mile, as-stock survivors, go nuts. Just my :twocents:
