It reminds me of something that would have come out on one of the Superfans SNL skits (the Chicago "Ditka!" guys with Chris Farley, Michael Meyers and Norm).

I really want to use that as the filling in a Tur-bac-ken, turkey stuffed with chicken stuffed with bacon explosion..... yum.

Oh my...I didn't need to see that. On my low-iodine diet in prep for my scan next week and haven't had a piece of bacon in over a month!! I have been making my own sausage, though, since it's not smoked/cured/salted with unknown salt. Sign me up!!!

Prepped it tonight because I won't have time tomorrow. Hosting a happy hour party for Kate's lab folks and used it as an excuse to finally make one of these things.

Mine's a little fatter than the one on the recipe... go big or go home, I always say!

Problem is that I made it after we ate dinner and now the house smells of bacon and I'm hungry as %$&@!!!
