Pedal shims/washers?

Hello all,

I am cleaning up and rebuilding my brake and clutch pedal assembly.

On both the clutch and brake pedals there is a thin shim or washer that has slight bends in it. Is that normal? Is this some kind of worn down tension spring?

Can new ones be sourced from anywhere?

Can I replace it with a nylon washer?

Thanks!

If a local hardware store has bins of hillman nuts/bolts/washer/etc they might have the. The local Ace and True Value near me have wave washers in that section.

Awesome! I have never seen "wave washers" before. I'll check the local Ace first then I can get the micrometer out and see if the McMaster site has that size.

Thanks!
