It’s been in the family for years.
trailering it from Boise, ID to Marysville, WA.

The engine has a AC compressor on it, not hooked to anything.
looking at it closer my guess is that this 258 is out of something else.
Did any Scramblers have AC?

Not the original color either. It was baby blue? Sky blue? Robins egg blue? Powder blue? 😂

thx,

The plan is to make it look almost original.
(maybe a lift)
I'm going to try and find a hard top and hard doors for it.
I think the wood runners on the side look cool, so I'll make some of those.
Find better mirrors.
Might not keep this wheel/tire combo.
Check on the paint and reapply the decals.
Recover the seats.
The steering is absolutely terrible. It saws between 10 and 2 o'clock. Difficult to drive in a straight line. Glad I towed it home. Not very drive-able at this point.

Welcome aboard. Nice looking Srambler and your plans for it, sound solid. You'll have to do a build thread on it for us to watch. Good luck.

You"re Killin me! Most of us have experienced this at some time of ownership of our Scramblers...pre, during, post builds.

Welcome, looks like a solid scrambler!

Marysville huh?... If you lose interest in it, I'm just a few miles south in N. Seattle... :ROFLMAO::LOL::P
