Rust Behind/Under Driver Door

I've been putting off attacking a chunk of rust that has formed on the body just behind and below the driver door. I got under the jeep today and quickly realized why there was rust forming. Someone had filled the drain hole in the rail below the floor (not the one in the floor) with a solid plug and foamed the end of the open rail. This created a huge water filled cavity that drained out sand and rust when I popped the cap. Question for the forum, on a scale of 1-10, how bad is this (10 being dump the tub) and can I hold off until the winter to fix it. I have a fairly large project planned where it makes sense to tackle some of these types of problems.

Maybe I can trade drive train parts for body work...

Structurally I think you're fine for quite some time if that is the only issue you're facing. There are plenty of jeeps around with alot worse rust / missing chunks than that.
