I just bought my first Scrambler and am in the process of restoring it. I need to buy a hood and the cheapest one I found was on a site call https://www.dealsstars.net/products...e-ch1230126-hood-panel?variant=19798613655649 for $206.00 delivered but there is no information detailing the hood and make. The runner up is https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/1982/jeep/scrambler/body_mechanical_-ar-_trim/hood.html at $306. I guess my question is, are there any brands I should not get when it comes to body panels, hoods and etc or any sites I should not deal with??

Buy a good used one if you can find one in your area.
X2. Check Craigslist, junkyards, etc. Ain't nothing like the real thing, and fortunately hoods have mostly survived where the rest of the body has failed.

X3 Aftermarkets are in my opinion pretty much expensive junk. I bought three before and none of them fit right, ever. Metal is way thinner and flimsier too. Go the used route, you wont be disappointed.
