These aren't pics of my Scrambler but they are pics of some of my favorite color combos (some other members may recognize their ride in these pics). I'm a big fan of original paint colors/stripe kits and I will be repainting my Scrambler the original Silver Mist Metallic with '82 style Lt. Blue/Dark Blue stripes and the original slate blue interior.

Spankrs, you're killing me with that green. Great color. Good looking 8. Need update on the other....
Exhaustdemon: 2 options: Sublime on the CJ5, or Desert Sage Metallic on the 8, by Lexus, with stripes!

Do like the slate blue with stripes, and the silver with stripes, and the cranberry/deep red with stripes, and .............

Remember that basic non metallics will be easiest to shoot and to repair should you need it in the future. Also, lighter shades will oxidize less rapidly than the reds and other darker colors. Not sure where you are or what your intent is for the jeep, restoration to new or a nice functional wheeling jeep or?? Mine is just plain old factory jeep white (warmer than refrigerator, Krylon 'ivory')

How about a 'real' ivory with a stripe package with gold wagon wheels and a spice interior? Tan half or full hardtop.

well my ride is white now. granted that color is easy to hide scratches and repairs, i still want some color on it.

i will be going off road as much as possible  so your correct "trust" lighter is better.

these colors are cool

copper

deep night blue this is the orig. color it came with

THIS ONE IS REALLY COOL :smokin::smokin: the ride is owned by chef717

his post states the color as "mopar sassy grassy green"

Mine started off as Sebring Red apparently (from the parts where the paint is flaking off)...currently a forrest green. I dig it, but it is in no way as cool as any of the originals.

This is Ford Copper. I'll get the code if interested. I used the color computer match do-hickey. The hood, doors and main section of the tub were painted by PO. I applied Phos and Raptor bed liner under all the armor. Everything I painted has two coats of PPG DP90 as a base primer. The stuff is indestructable but pricey. The base coat and clear coat are PPG Shopline. When I repaint the entire Jeep it will be black or Charcoal with a pearl punisher skull and ghost flames. Sort of a Tactical look. I like my Black Rifles!!!!

Mine is the original 1982 Deep Night Blue. I don't like it much. Thinking when I repaint it to go with a silver/charcoal.

Since it's "deep night" blue, here's a picture of it in the deep of night :)

Here's a pic in the daylight:

Nice! I gotta see that.

I'm really leaning towards Jeep Rescue Green, also for the Tactical/Utilitarian look. Sort of a military green with metallic in it.
