Swapping a YJ Steering Column in to My CJ8

Good info as well..I have a YJ column What did you use to pin the shafts together. Looking at your pic wondering if aluminum welding rod cut to size and peened would work.

I didn't pin the shafts together, I greased them up and slid them together.

I'm glad I did, too... I initially put it together 180 degrees out, and my turn signals weren't canceling properly. Having a "collapsible" steering shaft made for an easy fix. ;)

There's plenty of overlap, so it's not going to fall apart in there.
