Can someone please tell me what the largest size tire that can be put on stock 15” wagon wheels?
Looking to upgrade to T/A All Terrain’s

Which width do you have? I’m pretty sure there were 7” most years and 8” in ‘81. Otherwise, usually a 31” tire is the considered the largest size and still have clearance.

With that size lift, common tire is 32x11.50R15 BFG AT, @AdamH runs this, see his profile. The 31x10.50R15 looks good if you want more wheel opening and 33x10.5R15 will fit but less wheel opening if using offroad. Sure others can add input.

I have a CJ7. With 30 some year old Warn ( stiff / no sag ) Springs . Most of the time I roll with 32 x 10.50 x 15 on mine. But when I go wheeling I have an extra set of wheels with 33 x 10.50 x 15 and have no problem with rubbing either. I don’t have 3 or 4 people loaded in there either though.
