What's on your Work Bench?

Repainted some rims, aircraft paint stripper didn't work good enough so sandblasted, primer and painted. Tried on the set of maroon rims, didn't work. Sandblaster wasn't strong enough.

What kinds of paint ? They look good.

Single stage Urethane. They will work for winter wheels. I need to get thinner tires for winter driving (better grip on snow/ice covered roads).

I'd still like those Warn drive flanges, if you can sell them separately.

I've got some used Warn lockouts I can send as replacements, if you need them.

OK, just to catch you guys up since mid December -
These are the very nice maple laundry room cabinets Mrs. CJ8 wanted painted after scuffed up

Well, she didn't like them so off comes the paint

Next up was Lil CJ8 1/4's tenth birthday. As you guys know I always make them a Dad gift. This year with the baseball phenom got was a regulation sized home plate to put his game balls, MLB caught fouls and between inning balls and a place to hang his medals. What was surprising was that this thing ATE UP 8 ft of lumber!

Then while at the beach for the New Year/ Ohio State THUMPING of Clemson this was on the curb for bulk items day. Mrs. CJ8 was jazzed about the teak furniture but me........



I had to have that box for the tongue of my utility trailer!

And I brought this fine piece of work back for some much needed attention



She's getting new axles, bunks, support brackets, lights, wiring and servicing the bearings



And yes, the lights are going to be LED's

And just before we went to the coast I made me a cooktop for my lower patio as Mrs. CJ8 can't as of yet appreciate hash for breakfast. I'm going to make a second one so that I have it for the small charcoal grill (that's YF tuna from the gulf of Mexico)

And dang it if I didn't make Mrs. CJ8 a fire ring for her beach house as a from me Christmas gift! This looks surprisingly like a piece of recently removed 40" diameter ductwork.

I started the fire with palm tree leaves - never could have said that before!



Burnt all this up in 3 nights

Nice Speed Queen, we just got one 6 weeks ago. Also just gathered all my baseball memorabilia up to move on. All AAA baseballs and miniature bats and jerseys from our local team that left town last year.

I figure that the ~$125 I "save" by not having to purchase a box retail or from CL at a discount, those funds can be allocated elsewhere with a 1.3 multiplier!
