I'm a 56 year old, retired Captain at the Chilean Navy. Since pretty joung age I've loved jeeps and after having a canadian CJ-7, a couple of Cherokee XJ's, some wrangler YJ's, recently I purchased a retired of service jeep from the Chilean Army. The vehicle is an AIL Storm M-240, based on the wrangler yj with which share some body components as well as the engine, transmission and transfer case, front axle is a DANA 30 with some kind of reinforcements and at the rear it has a pretty strudy Dana 60, full floating axle.
Though the storm and the yj share a lot of parts, my actual proyect, which is on it's way, considers to swap the front clip from my last YJ to the storm as well as the complete interior, hard top (which will need to be stretched).
